This 2012 Reserve Claret showcases all of the power, concentration and exuberance from what has proven to be a classic and highly ageable vintage. With flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, blueberry, tar, cassis, and a subtle truffle note, this is a wine that is truly greater than the sum of its parts – and its parts are pretty awesome in their own right. The main grape sources for the 2012 Claret remain our Lower Mountain Top vineyard block for the Merlot portion, and the Rock Arch block for the Cabernet Sauvignon.
